Video Edit Frame Boundary Issue
I was recently conforming to a video edit that had changed, and I normally group all my old tracks (including video) and make edits on all of them and slide around until the conform is done. This time though, when I would make an edit on a frame, I'd see it actually cut it correctly on the audio tracks, but the video edit was on a frame early, or late. Depending on where I made the cut, it could be even 3 frames early or late - until you'd find a frame that was spot on. Anyone encountering this? I'm on the newest PT 2022.9.0, on a Mac Studio, and the QT's were H264's at 23.98

Re: Video Edit Frame Boundary Issue
Off the top of my head, might be because the h264 video is long GOP. You tried with an MXF picture instead?

Re: Video Edit Frame Boundary Issue
No but thanks for pointing me down that direction - just read all about GOPs - and will try a conversion next time - just never hard to do this before. Many thanks Pete
