5.1 MP3 export problem ?

I'm running PT 5.1, G4 800, OS 9.2, MP3 dII and I've been having a problem playing my mp3 exports on Macamp 1.0b7 that didn't have any problems recognizing my Audio Catalyst exports.
Since I bought the MP3 option to avoid the sidestep I'd love to see it work.
What's wrong?
