S/PDIF Mirroring problem...fixed in 6.1???

Anyone know if the s/pdif mirroring problem is fixed in 6.1? Or am I stupid and dont understand why it happens and therefore there is no way it could be fixed in 6.1?

i havent installed the wave-driver. The ASIO-driver works great here with reason and recycle.

Well the WaveDriver doesn't dunction as well as the previous one, but it's ok if you use only SoundForge and Winamp 3, which are the only programs that work with it... The good news is you can have the Asio and WaveDriver together at the same time, and THAT WORKS !!! Still beta though. [img]images/icons/cool.gif[/img]

I was also excited about this as it bit me hard when tracking last week (thank god i didnt loose sessions or audio...).

I tried with 6.1. I switched spdif mirroring on and off, and to and from the RCA and the optical as crazy. PT just behaved normally. I think its quite safe to say that they adressed this problem. I can't say for sure, because digi never told they fixed it...but it sure looks like it! [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
