Water coolers
Anyone out there using the Thermaltake Aquarius II water cooling kit? $119 sounds like a pretty reasonable price (Newegg), but Im obviously nervous...Want to get a 2800 Barton for my a7v333 and want the best possible cooling as quiet as possible so I can overclock a bit... thanks.

That XP2800+ processor is not a great overclocking processor. Best ones are the XP1700, XP2100, XP2500 and the XP3000 so far. XP2500 is my favorite so far at 90.00 now from www.newegg.com . I had a friend take it to 2.5Ghz on air cooling. That would put it over XP3600+. Check the Best System for PTLE thread for a new air cooler that is being used in overclocking with great success. Total cost is 27.00 for heatsink and fan and most are able to keep temps below 45C with heavy overclocking of the XP processors. Thermalright SK-7 with Panaflo L1A 80mm fan on top. Good luck, Allen |
