Can’t say it’s “impossible,” since I’ve successfully installed it on three Win 10 machines.
Did you use Avid Link, (don’t!) or go to your account and download the installer yourself? (Do!)

I've seen a lot lately! Apart from SW advice if not using Avid link try another browser for download just in case.

You’re better off trying another browser but still downloading from your account. General consensus is avoid Avid Link. I downloaded all my Windows installers with Firefox and use the standard Windows app to unzip. On Mac I usually get the installer with Chrome.

Forget Avid Link crap.

Lets try to troubleshoot by technically troubleshooting, not just guessing what is going on.

Go to the Avid Download Center (not My Products).

Download the 2024.3 Windows Version of Pro Tools.

Check the MD5 hash on that downloaded zip file with Certutil.

C:> certutil -hashfile Pro_Tools_2024.3.0_Win.zip MD5

You should get the expected a0dd92c1082d0028a8c02e331f9fd28e

(yes it should be the same if you download from My Products but I want you to see where the MD5 hash are documented).

If the MD5 hash do not match your problem is in the download/browser whatever.

If the MD5 hash matches then the problem has nothing to do with browsers/downloads, and the problem is in the installation: possibly what you are doing, maybe Pro Tools has a install problem on French Windows, or your Windows system is messed up.

---

If the MD5 hash matches then what *exactly* are you doing to the installer file after you download it. Describe every click or command you run.

Especially what exact tool are you using to uncompressed the installer zip.

Once the zip is uncompressed, and before running the installer, can you manually find the missing files that were reported missing before?

Search for those files in the old-school way... i.e. cd into the unzipped directory tree and then for the file mentioned in the screenshot...

C:> dir /s *Mono.dll

Do *not* try to find those files using Windows indexed search garbage.

Make sure your Desktop etc. is not using OneDrive garbage.

Disable Windows included and all other antivirus garbage.

That's what I do in fact.
