PT 12.6 Bounce to .mp3 issue...

since I upgraded to 12.6, when I try and bounce directly to .mp3 I no longer get the window with .mp3 encoding options/meta-data ect.

If I bounce to WAV with the "Add MP3" option then oddly enough I get the window with the mp3 options.

Any body else experiencing this?

Same here, no meta-data-editing.
Work around is to edit them in the "Add MP3"-window and interupt that bouncing-procedure.
Direct bounce writes meta-data then, though still not showing the window.

Hey guys, thanks for posting. Ya, I've tried trashing prefs and starting with a brand new 12.6 session too... weird.. Yea, the only work around I've seen so far is to bounce to WAV and "Add MP3" this way I can edit the data. I edit 40+ song live sets and typically bounce each song out to .mp3 as roughs for the band to hear so I kind of need to be able to edit the meta-data on every bounce. I hope they whack this one in the next release.

All fine for me, went back on a session that Ive started few weeks ago, little bounce ,last night after update to 12.6 ,for reference of that song I'm working on but no issues at all

Can you come up with a repeatable case?

Bugs need repeatable steps that engineering can duplicate in house and see/fix the problem. Hoping won't get it done.

Well, I have my session open,

I have the portion of the timeline selected that I want bounced.

I hit CTRL + ALT + B.

normal bounce dialog pops up asking File Type, Format, Bit Depth, ect.

Bounce Source: MASTER (bus)

I have MP3 selected

Add MP3 - unchecked

I type in the File name

Choose the directory

Offline - checked

Hit Bounce

** here is where the MP3 dialog is supposed to pop up but does not it goes straight to bounce **

I can repeat that every time.

All sessions? Brand new sessions created after trashing prefs?
