Pro tools se and IK amplitude

Hi yall

I take it that Ik amplitude is a plug in and therefore dosent work with Pro tools SE and fast track?
I can not find anywhere in official literature that states black and white such plugins dont/work with SE. Is this correct? Also i cant even upgrade to a "better" version from SE it seems...what have i bought lol
