Default Switch from Win to a MAc Pro

I'll be switching from a Window PC to a New Mac ProDual Intel Xeon 2.8 Ghz Quad Core with 6 GB of RAM nextr week;

I need to know If I can download again my upgrade to PT8, now Mac version? ( I previously downloaded the PT8 upgrade for my PC)

And, will I also be able to download the bundled software also?

You may need to contact digi customer support - they can get digidelivery to grant you access to the mac binaries. Any additional software such as plugins will be downloadable, your iLok will allow PTLE to load the plug-in on the mac instead of windows.

Because of the hardware detection requirements (iLok for plugins, mbox/digi for ProTools), digidesign doesn't have to worry about rampant piracy of its products so its pretty easy to jump from Windows to Mac without donating more than a pint, maybe 2.

If you log in to "My Digi" you should see all of the Downloads that are currently enabled for you..

In my case, I updated about 2 months ago and all the Mac and windoze versions are available..

Same here. Check your "My Digi" account and all your installers are there.

YEP all there in My DIGI.
I'm getting the MacPro this Thursday...can't wait.

When I plug my Ilock, do I have to do anything else?

If you already dowloaded the license in your iLok, then that's it. Just plug it in and you're on. Actually the iLok is for the plug ins.
