A Digi001 user needs the PRO\'s help and advice.
If anybody could guide me - How to remove the "Ph" and "S' sounds in vocal tracks.
I am a beginner in audio editing. What plug-in to use for this.I was able to remove "Ph" with Gate (Mono) , with default settings except for the attack.I kept the attack at 34ms. Am I doing the right thing? What is the best method? And how to remove "s" sound? Thanks in advance to all of you. |

If you have the same problem on all vocals..maybe you are not using the right mic..Try using a pop filter as well..it works..

Try the de esser thats what its for. Play with it because its not all that simple to get good results.

I find I prefer to lower the volume of each offending sibilent manually. That way the parts that sound ok are untreated, and you don't have to comprimise the settings of a de-esser (ie. works for one section, but not for another).
