Default Help for a system hermit.

hey all,

Ive been running protools 6 on my ol' powerbook for a while, happy camper.

i finally upgraded to a mac pro 8core and am wanting to transition over to the mac pro my 002rack.

my only concern is, how do i get core audio drivers running on leopard, i love the digi interface but am happy to use ableton and logic - i just fear, my lack of upgrading in the past (my motto is very much dont fix whats not broken, hence no active updating) will prevent me from gaining rights to the new drivers to get leopard to reconise my oo2rack...

any help for an uneducated lost soul

kind regards

I think you'll have to purchase version 7.4 from Digistore to get the Leopard compatible CA drivers.

I think that the Core Audio drivers will be free as standalone, but if you want to work with Pro Tools on 10.5.3, you will have to buy 7.4.

Not yet I believe. The Standalone CA driver will be available with the final release of 7.4.2. In a few weeks I guess.
