Default Buffer overload -6085 error constant

Hi I have just bought a MBOXPRO with protools 10.
I have it installed in a mobile workstation Dell M4500 Precision with Intel Quad Core i7 @1.73 GHz. I have 8 MB in RAM Memory and an external USB 1TB HDD.
Windows 7 , 64 bit.
I have tried everything to solve this error but it constatly appears when recording a new track or even just playback. Its really anoying and I cannot record a single clip!!!
Can someone can help?

Thanks

Default Buffer overload -6085 error constant

So u really Need to post to Sandra report for system specific information

You can find that on one of the links that say help us help you or read this first whatever it is

And I would definitely ask you a bout what your playback engine is set up at ?
what your buffer is set up at ?

and what your hard drive speeds are?

all of those things would be answered by Sandra report but that's where I would personally start looking

Buffer size: 64
Processors: 4
CPU limit: 90%
Buffer transmission plug in level 2 size

I have the internal HDD @ 7200 where the protools software is installed, I also have an external USB HDD @ 7200 RPM where I am saving my sessions.

Here is the Sandra report

Many thanks

your CPU should go up to 99%.Before your song loads in go to the menus up top and see if you can increase it.Also set your processor to one less than what you have available. So if you have 8 set it to 7...Also have you done all the optimizations

I agree the Sandra report looks great. Call it a hunch but but I'm curious about DPC Latency. You should disable any networking whether wired or wireless and check for DPC spikes. And as mentioned you need to do the required optimizations to get off on the right foot.
