Noise on 192 I/O inputs 10 and 16

Hello everyone.

I have a 192 with the additional A/D card, and recently, I've noticed that there is some
noise developing on inputs 10 and 16. Sometimes the first LED meter lights up when
the noise happens, although the noise is continuous.

Is there a problem with my A/D card, and if so, how much does it cost for Digidesign
to fix it?

I bought the A/D card from Alto Music a few years back.

PS. Does this mean that the noise is on the analog inputs only, and will the
9-16 ADAT inputs be clean probably?

Is there some leaky caps in there or something?

I had a similar problem when we got the 192s the first time. In my case yes, it was a defective card.
Because the unit was covered with guarantee we didn't pay.

You better get in touch with Alto music as soon as possible and let them help you with the process.

(IMO there's nothing wrong with your digital cards)
