I haven't seen that.

But as with some updates PT is crashing as I switch back and forth between sessions and Rosetta/Native. These things tend to settle down after a few machine restarts and it's been settling down today w/ 2023.6.

So hopefully that issue will be temporary as well.

EDIT = SOLVED!! Avid tech support simply opened DigiTest and "looked" at my HDX card. After that HD Driver 2023.6 works like a charm - Go Figure

The only solution for me ws to revert the HD driver back to 2023.3. With HD driver 2023.6, I get the error whenever I try to use HDX as the playback engine. If it's already set, PT will bomb on start up. If playback engine is left at some other setting, PT will launch but as soon as you switch to HDX, it bombs with the same error.

New PT 2023.6 and old HD driver 2023.3 work fine, so they messed something up in HD driver 2023.6

There are some Windows OS performance improvements in this release. Curious to see how it performs for you Windows users.

Seems that's where the available space is.
You could use the track above to mark the track below! =/

I agree, I was also expecting the track locations to appear above the track. It really doesn't matter but my brain went the same place yours did. :)

I have to check if it really works yet, but if they fixed the ARA problem where all the work and edits done were lost when reopening a session, I’m happy. But honestly this kind of bugs should be released ASAP and not wait for the fancy things like the track markers. 3 months losing Melodyne edits was outrageous

For me the most important feature is that it is THIRD release working natively on ARM. So plugin vendors have little excuse already.

After installing 2023.6 all my sessions had the CPU at 100%, even empty ones, even after trashing prefs. Doesn't even go into play.
reinstalled HD Driver 2023.3, all is good now.

I suppose so, but then I couldn't make use of 'Markers Follow Edits' on that track. But I don't want to harp on this too much. I was just curious if anyone else felt the same way.

I appreciate the thoughtful consideration given to keyboard shortcuts with the updated Memory Locations dialog.
