Pro Tools opens new project to blank screen

Newest version on PC/Windows 10. The first couple of sessions opened fine, then the audio settings changed themselves somehow. It took me a while but I fixed that. Now whenever I create a new session it just opens up to a blank screen. No windows open at all. I can see the tool bar but just a blank screen behind it. How do I set it back to where it opens up all of the windows that it normally opens? Thanks!

Once you launch Pro Tools, can you set the windows manually?

If so, then close the Pro tools using ALT+F4 with the session open as you wish it to be. Save if asked.

Thanks I got it figured out. I'm pretty new to this so I didn't want to go clicking buttons that would have put me further away from where I wanted to be. Simple fix - click the edit menu in the windows screen. Duh. Did the rest like you said and it's fine now. Thanks!

Protools 12.7.1 could not complete the import audio command because assertion in volumes development 200028 protools line 603
Evertime i open a new session everything runs smooth until i Press "Shift Comm I" Error line 603 Pops Up! I have deleted everything i have uninstalled and re installed i even have up loaded the 12.7.1 HD driver nothing seems to work for me. I think the problem is somewhere in my library folder and i just can't put my finger on it right now i know its something small I'm just probably looking ova! Yea if you can help that will be wonderful.
