Default Word Clock Question

Hi Guys,

I've an old Digidesign 96i i/o and am adding a Lynx Aurora 16 LT-HD as well as two Audient ASP 800 preamps.

I'm planning on using the 96i as master clock out to the Lynx.

Can I take the Lynx CLOCK OUT and split it with a "T" connector to feed the two mic pre amps?

If not, what would be my best solution without having to spring for a separate Master Clock?

Thank you kindly for your responses...

Yep. In your case the second device downstream from the T-bar needs 75 ohm termination. No problem there, ASP800 have switchable internal termination.

My advice: get 2 or three T-bars for every one you plan to use. I've had a few BNC adapters go out one me, one mid-session, and a backup or two is always good to have on hand..

bear in mind that every passive split drops the signal level, so don't buy very long cables

One meter should not hurt anyone. Talk about +10 meters and we'll see some other cable recommendation than regular RG58
