Default How is everyone converting CD audio to 24/48k?

Didn't realize how much I've relied on SoundAppFat. However it won't 'add zeros'.

..and I couldn't get Vision to do it either.

How is everyone converting to 24bit, besides re-recording?

If you want to convert to 24 bit you should access the audio pull down menu from the "audio" region bin. You will find "Export Selected as Files". This will pull up the Output options window where you can change:
-file format (aiff, mp3, wav)
-Resolution (24 or 16 bit)
-Sample Rate (44.1 or 48kHz)
Ensure that you know where you are choosing to save the audio so you can locate it after the processing. (Question: You want to convert from 16 bit 44.1k up to 24 bit 48k?)

So one creates a 'new' song at 16 bit 44.1 to import the drum samples for conversion. Then import those into the final 24 bit/ 48k file?

I hadn't a clue this was possible. It sure would be a lot easier if one could use the built-in import feature.

Mucho gracias

I think you can do that another way as well. Forgive me for not having all of the details, as I don't have my 001 in front of me presently. I import 16 bit 44.1 drum loops/samples all the time into 24 bit/44.1 sessions using the "import audio from movie" ( or something like that command under operations). Walk through the menus, and you can convert to 24bit after importing the audio ('convert after import' or something like that option ). It is all in the manual under importing audio from CDs, if I got it somehow wrong. Works great.
