Artist Transport New User Question Regarding Jog wheel

Hi all I hope you can help

This is my first step into the world of Eucon and have just setup my Artist Transport.

First thing I have done is updated the firmware and I am running Pro Tools 11.2.2

I have noticed that when I select jog or shuttle it automatically enables the scrub function so is scrubbing when I jog or shuttle.

I would rather it moved the track play head so I can quickly move by bars/beats and then hit play

Is this possible ? I did it all the time with my previous controllers although they were HUI

If anyone could help talk me though how to use the jog or shuttle to move the play head I would really appreciate it.


How are you all using the jog and shuttle wheel in your setup ?

This one got me too when I first got my transport. If you're in Pro Tools, bind one of the softkeys to "Move Selection" - this button Jogs in the manner you're expected to. The transport is actually pretty magical with that setting.

Awesome thank you that seems to work great !

By chance do you know if there is a way to get it to work without the need of hitting a soft key first ?

no. there's no default setting for the wheel. I use a softkey in the shift layer.


I also don't understand why the shuttle wheel can't do a secondary eucon command.

And in case you want to change the color of the wheel softkeys - green and red is reversed.

I hope you post if there's weird behaviour of your S3. I'm very interested...

Sorry to ask but since I am new to eucon and still setting up my custom commands when you say green and red is reversed do you mean the actual colour on the transport buttons and once you have hit them they light up like place record etc once they are hit ? I will need to try that one out :)

So far so good with the S3 its a change from mixing with my Allen & Heath GS-R 24M but also in a good way more daw control is great and the surface feels great to use

I am getting me head into the eucon and now I've started to use it I wish I had done this a long time ago

I am looking through all the settings and I can only find Move selection Up or Move selection Down. Would you please be so kind to specify where exactly this setting can be found?

While I am at it.

Is it correct that the S3 does not run properly on PT10?
Transport and softkeys are not working on mine.

I guess once I make the move it will be ok?

No problem. It works great under 11 and 12 especially with the newest eucon update.
