Default using a function key to punch gates out

On v3 with an SC48.

I'd like to use gates across my vocal channels (cymbals) but only on faster songs (with no mumbling). Is there a way to do this with a function key that will show me the state of the gates? I guess I could use snaps but I'd prefer to pop the gates in/out with one button press on the fly (separately from snaps)

Thanks!
-B

Default Re: using a function key to punch gates out

i guess you can utilize the function keys to trigger snapshots to punch in and out gates.
