merging midi tracks, and layer recording..Is it possible?
So there are a number of things I would like to do with midi and layering, which don't seem to be possible.
One example would be as follows. I am programming some drums. I would like to keep most of the midi on one track, because I can just assign separate outputs from my sampler. Thus, when I am working on a beat many times I want to play just a couple parts at a time, and then layer in other parts after. I would like to do this all on one track without it overwriting my previous parts every time I enter a new one. I would also like to be able to copy and past regions of audio from one track and combine it with another. Is this possible? Knowing how to do this would greatly greatly help my workflow. |

'MIDI Merge' but as for your second question, did you mean Audio or MIDI. If MIDI Alt+M.
