Default SDII rewrite

Just is case it makes any difference, I am the guy who offered (sent messages directly to Digi) to rewrite SDII. Digi never responded (except that they forwarded my message to someone). If they are going to abandon it, why aren't they willing to give me the source and let me have a try at a rewrite. I suspect I would not consider the revenue to meager as they do!

Once I get it working in another language, then we can see about collaboration with Digi, i.e. upgrades, new hardware support, etc!!!!!!
