Default I want my $1000 back

I paid $1000 for MAsterlist CD. I bought it because I could do high quality, 80 min. CDR's for manufactuing purposes.

It no longer has the feature that I paid for and no CD recorders are available to run the version of the software I wish to run.

I'm not kidding about this and I feel there are even possiblilies for a class action law suit.

Digidesign, you are OBLIGATED by law to do one of the following: (if you don't belive me, speak to your lawers)

• Supply an unsuported patch that removes the block, with of course a use at your own risk notice.
• Update drivers in MAsterlist 2.1 to suport ANY CDR drive that is avaiable for sale. EVEN ONE!!!
• Give me my $1000 back.

Please reply ASAP.

You said (It no longer has the feature that I paid for and no CD recorders are available to run the version of the software I wish to run)
What feature is missing? The 80 min CD lenght was never supported but you could do it. As of 2.2 you cant try it because a limit was of 74min was put back in. As for CD-recorders
I just bought a plextor 8/2/20 and I am running MLCD 2.2 If you bought MLCD 2.1 you can get the MLCD version 2.2.
Hope this helps you
MJ

Even MLCD 1.4 allowed 80 min. cds. What makes digi think it is ok to block use of 80 min CD-rs. All you had to do was issue a use at you own risk warning. Somebody needs their head examined!

Not only does MLCD 2.2 have the 74 minute limit, it doesn't do any length check below that limit. For example, it will gladly accept a 21 minute/ 8 cm Mini-CD and try to write a 70 minute recording on it. So much for the orange/yellow/red (ord whatever color) book compatibility of MLCD. (Earlier versions did that check, of course!).
Again, if anyone at Digidesign happens to read this: you have customers out there who are not satisfied with one of your products and by the way your tech support treats this issue. You will be losing many of them if you do not change your policy of ignoring us altogether.

Mathias
