Default Faders Not Referencing Pro Tools

Okay, here I am with another issue with this garbage Avid Artist Control I'd do anything to get my money back for. What a buggy piece of nightmare from hell.

ANYWAY

After one day waking up and suddenly not being able to do ANYTHING with my AC after almost two years of complete functionality on demand (despite the hillarious fact that it can't flip faders, despite being essentially a computer) I started doing anything and everything to try to get it to work. I installed the latest version and firmware, then pro tools was unhappy with the Eucon profile.

Cleared all PT preferences, still no dice.

Saw a suggestion to retrograde to 2.7. Did that, it will connect and bring up tracks but the faders don't correlate to what's on screen. They can manipulate the channels with no problem but when I bank they don't update, they just stay where they are.

Retrograded the firmware, no change.

Running Windows 7, Eucon 2.7.1, firmware 1.4 (i think).

Pro Tools 10.3.7, which I refuse to update because the only thing Avid improves with each update is the ability to crash.

Anyone had this issue? Anyone have any suggestions for a different control surface that actually works like it's supposed to? Just about done with everything that has an AVID logo.

No one ever had this issue? Any suggestions?

Is it time to just put this PoS up for sale?
