I agree. I actually prefer W11 to 10, but that's just me. PT is a complicated piece of software that is very sensitive to all sorts of stuff. But on the other hand, there was a time when I had serious issues relating to Windows corruption that could only be solved by rolling back to a saved system image.

11 & 10 work for me. Take all Windows updates. Defender scan (or similar). CCleaner incl reg clean. Disk Cleanup/Clean up system files. All browser/apps/drivers updates. Make/save boot-drive images.

Yes. I regularly run error checking, SFC, and DISM commands to ensure Windows runs smoothly without system errors.

You looking at DUC in a Web browser? "Help us Help You" is up near the top of every DUC web page. Optimization and Standard Troubleshooting is discussed in that link. Knowledge Base Search is there as well.
