Default McDSP users..

Are you pretty happy with the plugs from McDSP you have/use?

Curious what the general consensus is for these.

Thanks.

Personally I love 'em. I use Filterbank and Compressorbank all the time and they are my go-to plugins for EQ and Compression. I have the Multi-band compressor stuff too but don't really use it very often. The EQ's sound very musical to me, feel similar to SSL G series EQ's.

Yep - I use AC1 & 2, CB, FB & the MC2000. Got a great deal on the Classic Pack from audiomidi.com last year.

The AC1 & 2 & MC2000 are on my master bus on just about every mix I do. The AC1 gets liberal use over a lot of tracks throughout - can't get enough of it!

Compressor Bank is my 'go to' compressor for bass.

Filter Bank I hardly use - just now & again for effect EQ rather than general sound shaping. Never really compared it's resource usage against the EQ3 though so I might have to investigate that...

I'm still on V4 too - I've seen no real reason to upgrade to V5 tbh.

I own the classic pack.

I use AC1 & AC2 frequently.

Multiband compressor rarely.

For EQ or Compression I use other plugins these days.

they seem to have taken down their web site???
never mind, now I can get to it.

I love the ac1 and 2 and the ml4000 from the project studio pack (I bought the upgrade for the AC1 and 2) and also am thinking of getting the version 5 classic pack, it's $199 'till tomorrow but I sent them an email about upgrade paths.

It looks like reason 6 is only hours away...tough decision ahead for my couple hundred to spend.

Yup. I just picked up the 6030 Comp, $179 minus $25 with the 6030nv coupon code posted on Twitter.

Nice addition to the toolbox there...
