Default MS Pair

I was wondering if anyone has had any success recording with MS pair in PT, and the techniques they use to get it done?

Yup.
1. Create 3 Aux Trax
2. Create 1 Stereo Audio Track
3. Set the input of the Audio track to the same ouput bus of the Aux trax
4. Set up your card mic to the input of Aux track 1
5. Set your Bi-polar mic to the same input as Aux track 2 and 3
6. Leave your card mic panned to the center
7. Pan your bi polar channels Left and the other Right
8. Flip the phase on ONE bi polar channel
9. Adjust your pre amp volumes to be equal across all three channels
10. Enjoy a stereo filed that sums perfectly to mono!

This may be simpler:
Record your 2 mics to 2 mono audio tracks,
duplicate the figure 8 track
insert a plugin on the duplicate and invert polarity
(the 1 band EQ is good for this)
pan the figure 8 tracks(original and duplicate) hard left and right
Bring up the 3 faders (cardioid track is center)

Kris75's method actually records the decoded audio. My way simply records audio and decodes on playback, which allows you a little more control when mixing. (varying the balance of the cardioid to Figure 8 tracks will vary the stereo spread).

Funny thing is that I only commit during and audio pass, never with the ladies
