PT 6 and iBook g3 and Mbox

Whats up with the PT 6 and the ibook with an Mbox.
Its looks like pt 6 requires a g4. IS that a sugestion or a requirement?

PTLE 6.0 works with iBooks. I had a demo version of it and it worked great on my iBook 500.

Thats what I am wondering too. I have an Mbox with a G3 400 iMac. Which runs great as is by the way but I do qualify for a free upgrade to PT6.

the compatibility doc. says PT6 supports ibooks 12" & 14" ice white (dual usb) G3 models from 500mhz to 700mhz, but imacs must be G4 LCD flat panel. [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img] Looks like I have to get another computer. [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img] Not the news I wanted.

Has anyone tried PT6 on an eMac? I think I'll freak out if it won't work.. please say it will..

None of the ibooks have a G4 processor and that's what DIgi says is required. I'm using an mbox with a G3 500 imac and I want to know if I'm going to need a new computer, and will the ibook be an option since it also runs on a G3. Will PT 6 work and just be a little slow or will it not functon properly? [img]images/icons/confused.gif[/img]
