Default Undo my co-install driver mistake?

So, I made the mistake of putting PT 11 drivers on my HD Accel system, as in this bulletin, which doesn't say how to FIX the problem.

I trashed PT 11 and re-installed PT 10.3.9, and I still have the choppy audio playback.

Tips? Thanks.

Can you give LESS info? Windows or Mac? Did you have a backup plan? Are you aware of drive imaging/cloning?

This is the HD/X (MAC) thread, is it not?

Mac OS 10.9.3
PT 10.3.9
PT 11.1.3

Yes, I have a clone, but it would be easier to just nuke whatever PT11 driver is causing the issue, which could have been included in the Knowledge Base article, unless that means there is no way to unbake that cake.

I see. Re the Mac/PC question, it wouldn't be the first time someone posted in the wrong forum(done it myself). I seem to remember hearing about some issues with uninstall on Mavericks, so the clone may be the only solution. Hope someone in "the know" has better news

This is available as a separate download in your Avid account under Pro Tools HD 11:
HD Driver 11.1.3 Installer (Mac) (93 MB)

Download that, and run the Avid HD Driver Uninstaller.app on the disk image.

Gracias Amigo. Worked like a charm. Perhaps that info could be added to the Knowledge Base article linked above?
