ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL PRO TOOLS 6.7 MUST UNINSTALL
Hi, I just got the Pro Tools 6.7 update and when I click on the update I get a message saying "You must uninstall the previous version of Pro Tools to proceed".
However, when I go into my control panel and attempt to uninstall Pro Tools 6.4 nothing happens! I can't figure out what's wrong, please help! Also, if I do uninstall Pro Tools 6.4 and reinstall the 6.7 version will I have to install my plug-ins over again as well?? If so, that would be tedious!

Re: ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL PRO TOOLS 6.7 MUST UNINSTALL
How’s your system configured? I ask because I’ve experienced install/uninstall problems when I’ve turned off my services using msconfig. There is a windows installer service that can be accidentally turned off and not available when you need it. I’m not sure if that’s your problem though. You won't have to reinstall your plug-ins either. Just make sure to only uninstall 6.4.
