002/5.3.2 install trouble

After PT first install restarting the computer I get blue screen with
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.If I do a last config restart PT doesn't boot saying "Unable to locate Digidesign hardware".In the device manager can't locate 002 drivers present on the right location.XP 2400+ M/B Abit KD 7 Raid
XP pro FWIRE card w/VIA chipset.PLEASE HELP !!

is anyother version of PTLE on the HDD

is it 5.3.2 or the lastes 5.3.2cs2

I tried first w/ 5.3.2 and then cs2 but seem to give the same result.Thanks

Same problem here. Anybody have any answers?

XP Pro
dual 2.4 Intels
1 Gig Ram
U320 36 gig SCSI (non-raid)

After searching DUC, We swapped out the SCSI with and 80 gig IDE and still have the same problem. So it can't be the SCSI controller.

Conflicting hardware? Shotty Drivers?

We used our last free call (until reg.) for support and they couldn't even help us.

Any input is appreciated.

i had the same problem. Turned out to be bad memory (ramsticks).

The raid controller must also be disabled. PT is not compatible with IDE raid controllers.

Everything was ok disabling Raid connecting disks over 2 ide bus (instead of 4) and install everything again.I still get the infamous Dae error -1115 but it's enough launch PT again.Dave C 32+4. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
