basic question I know but....
Have a dynamic mic going into the mbox(mic input one) and can get the signal registering on a track, on another track I have a piece of music taken from a cd, the problem I am having is that I can only see the mic signal registering when the track is record enabled and the other track with the music on it is not playing as soon as I hit the transport bar to play the music I dont get any signal again...can anybody tell me whats goin on here?????
The music track is inputted on analogue 1-2 and outputted the same while the mic is inputted on analogue 1 and outputted on analogue 1-2 Cheers in advance |

Re: basic question I know but....
There are two input modes
you are in what is called "auto input" The other mode is called "input only" (this is the mode you are looking for) You can change this by going to the track menu or by pressing the shortcut "option+k" YOu will see the little green light on the transport bar toggle on and off. hope this helps dogon |
