5.1 bounces
We are having trouble bouncing two 5.1 mixes together. We made a radio edit, with an Accappella and an instrumental, but are having trouble bouncing them, then importing back into the session.
We are working with PT 7 HD, 96k, 24 bit. WAV The error message states that each mono stem is unreadable by Pro Tools. Anyone encounter such a problem? Thanks, Brian Cabby |

Re: 5.1 bounces
If there is a problem like this I suggest routing the tracks to a 5.1 Bus and creating a mix Track then recording it back into Pro Tools that way. This has the advantage that, on long bounces, you can drop in if necessary to make simple changes. Having said that the bounce should work fine. Try bouncing to another disk as it sounds like a disk problem to me.
hope this helps Simon L. |
