Default 2023.6 - Audiosuite settings maintaining across windows (bug?)

Hey everyone!

I know this was changed (or fixed?) in 2023.6, but I'm getting caught out by it on the daily.

--
AudioSuite preview in Clip by Clip input mode will preserve and correctly playback Clip Gain edits (PT-233775)

AudioSuite plugins will now remember "clip by clip" setting set by user when closing and re-opening the session (PT-258192)
--

Audiosuite settings: Continuous/Individual/Overwrite Files; Entire Selection/Clip-By-Clip; Multi-Input/Mono Mode; now maintain between windows, wondering if there's been a preference added that I'm missing to turn this off?

For example, I'll use Extract Dialog to clean up clips with 'individual files & clip-by-clip selected. Close that window, open up Defaulter change settings to 'multi-input & entire selection', make an edit, close that window then go back to Extract Dialog expecting it still to have 'individual files/clip-by-clip, but it's maintained multi-input/entire selection, so I'll have to change settings again, it's a real time sink.

It used to be that it would keep the selection within a plugin until you changed it, but now it carries over the settings applied within the previous audiosuite window.

Anyway, curious if anyone else is bothered by this, whether it's a bug, or if I should try clean prefs?

I am 100% bothered by this and 100% think it’s a bug but I’ve been told it’s not. I’m going to report it again and hopefully it will sink in. I suggest you report it as well.

I'm using 2022.12 here. It works exactly as you describe: change a processing setting in one AS plugin, you'll get that setting in the next AS window you open (with certain plugin-specific restrictions). So nothing different. I don't remember it was ever different since PT5 (don't know before).
But I agree it would be desirable that each plugin type has its own set of favorite processing settings.

Trent, are you using 2023.3 or 2023.6 ? (your signature says 2023.3)
