Need Mixing Help!!! THANK YOU!
Hi there.
I have a mix set for what I'll call my host track (I obviously want my other mixes to sound the same). I saved as a session template then imported that template to the other mixes. Now of course, each song is different therefore the mix is slightly different, however no songs sound consistent at the moment. Eg. guitars sound slightly louder in the next song, drums sound quieter despite being at the same level of dB What is the BEST method to compare my other mixes to my host mix? Import the host mix via stereo interleaved then adjust levels to match it? How do I know I'm listening at the proper level of the host mix? Thanks, Ryan Murphy Calgary, Alberta, Canada |

Re: Need Mixing Help!!! THANK YOU!
It doesn't work like that, a different key means that none of your eq curves will work for example. I would export the song and import it on every new mix and reference often.
