select the whole automated region and use the trimmer tool to adjust the overall volume...
You might want to try the "gain" plugin too... I think it’s only for mono though...

I'm feeling pretty stupid, but I can't find the trim plug in. I'm running PT LE 5.1 for Mac. The digi page lists it among the plug ins that come with 5.1 (sorry, I don't know how to link to pages within digi's site), but I'm just not finding it. The manual says it only comes with TDM systems only.

Can anyone help on this? I've looked in inserts and audiosuite.

Fprod ---

Is it possible you're looking for the trim plug-in in the Audio-Suite list, and not in the RTAS list? To access this, you have to actually go to an audio send, click on the send, and pull-down to the trim plug-in --- which, by the way, has a mono and stereo version.

Hope this helps...

thanks billy, but I'm still not finding it
when you say "audio send", do you mean the "inserts" at the top. If so, I tried that and can't find it. I also looked in audio suite without luck.

Apparently I'm not the only one. I found this which wasn't very helpful.

I don't think the 'trim' plug-in showed up until version 5.2 if I remember right.

If you have a compressor or EQ on the track, you can adjust your input/output levels to get that extra 1 -2db of gain. If not, maybe just throw an EQ up there and leave it flat, using only the volume controls.

the "trim" plug doesn't show up as a stereo plug-in. It only shows up as multiple mono.

Dave nailed it.
But of course, it must be present in the plugins folder.

Thanks. It doesn't appear in my plug-ins folder which is a bit of a mystery to me. This site says it's part of the digi rack plug ins for 5.1.
But adjusting the level on a 1 band eq is probably just as good a solution.

My bad, trim was introduced in 5.1.1 - if you haven't downloaded that update, you should do so, cuz I think it has what yer looking fer.
