Before you get all your panties in a bunch SoundToys has some stuff that might be just as good or better and they are ex Eventiders to boot...

They both seem like they may overlap...but the Soundtoys stuff seems more diverse as plug-ins...it's weird now first we coulnd't get anything on TDM....now we're starting to get duplicates..ie bomfactory and universal audio and this stuff....oh also pspaudioware announced some new plugs for protools I think one was a Neve eq...

Wave mechanics guys are ex-Eventide as well. That could be why I think Pitchblender has some of the best sounding reverb/delay effects I have heard.

The Eventide plugs blow the Soundtools stuff out of the water. They are the first plugs that sound like what a record is supposed to be. And for only $600 for 5 plugs, it's a great deal in the bloated PT plug prices landscape.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Yeah, but keep in mind that Sound Tools is a very old (over 10 years) system. To be honest, I can't see how it compares to Eventide plug-ins anyway.

There seems to be some confusion here Sound Toys (not Sound Tools-which was a precursor to PRo Tools) Sound Toys is a new line of plug-ins from Wave Mechanics.
It is all on their web site.
I think having looked at both sites, that both current the Eventide products and the former Eventide guys at Wave Mechanics are offering potentially worthy items.
