Using propagate in snapshots
I have not used the propagte function in snapshots but would like to start. I have had a couple people tell me the propagate function is not always reliable. I would like to get some feedback from some that have been using it.
Thanks in advance for any comments! Harvey |

Re: Using propagate in snapshots
It is not about being reliable. But about being usefully.
When it comes to updating eq and comp settings propagate is really handy. Edit mode's (absolute end relative ) are more useful when it comes to updating aux settings and level settings. Propagate is more general settings in terms of updating content. Not mix level's. Besides that the syntax is different as well, when you want to Edit (edit mode) something: Sellect the snapshot (s) -Edit - make the change - choose absolute/ relative In propagate mode it is: The change is settings are already there -then press sellect the snapshot (s) - propagate - select the channels - scope settings what you want to update - press propagate again |
