Strange, I can see it. Go here http://protools.ideascale.com/ & search - Channel Strip. The heading is "Channel Strips in Mix Window" currently 0 votes.

Here is a copy of suggestion, can discuss anyway:

IMHO it would be great to be able to open a Mix window and instead of an empty channel strip to see a virtual representation of a console channel with the following features:

Track Name

Record enable button

Input Selection

Input Trim

Phase switch

Pre & Post fader inserts

3-5 band parametric EQ paired with a HPF

10 Mix bus sends (mix window to have 10 mix buses created with each blank session)

Input Trim

Expander/Compressor/Limiter

Pan

Mute & Solo

Peak/RMS Meter with Peak Hold & RMS readouts

Grouping button

Automation menu

EQ & Dynamics must have a bypass switch
