Lopsided Waveform
I recently recieved a track from an artist and it seems to be lopsided in volume per left and right stereo tracks. I'm wondering first, why this is, and second, if it affects the sound if mastered, etc.?? Anyone have any ideas? Heres the link to the pic taken...

Re: Lopsided Waveform
Looks perfectly normal to me.
Are you thinking the two waveforms should look exactly the same? |

Re: Lopsided Waveform
Do the two tracks sound different, or is it just a visual thing?

Re: Lopsided Waveform
A true stereo track is NOT the same on both sides (only a mono track split across two speakers will have the same waveform on the left and right channels).
You would expect to see changes in level on both sides if was mixed using any sort of panning, which it should have been. A:)
