G5 quad 2.5 and PT 7.1

does anybody who runs a g5 quad 2.5 with protools could tell me something about plugin counts, speed,... does PT really use all the cpu power??
could you load double as many plugs as on a dual 2.3?

I run some large sessions (100 tracks and more) with video files and a lot of automation stuff...
