My midi interface does\'nt work since upgrading to XP

I have a Opcode Studio 64x midi interface and i know that it has been discontinued for a while now but before i was able to how it work great with Windows Me by going into Regedit and making some chances now i can't seem to find that parameter in regedit.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet/SERVICES/VXD/VCOMM.

i can't seem to find it in xp. Sometime back on the DUC some genius posted that he had success with this method in order to solve that same problem.

Has anyone else had the same problem and know of a work around and i know a few of my fellow DUC neighbours are using this same midi interface
