Two T-Racks V1.3 EQ-plugins Crash.
I received sesions from a client which have been created in v7.4. For some reason these use both the "TRackS1.xEQ.dpm" and "TRackS1.x Equalizer.dpm". So I need both to reproduce the session. Strange enough, both show 'V1.3' but one is from 2007 the other from 2010.
The sessions won't open and crash Protools if the "TRackS1.xEQ.dpm" is in my plugins-folder, but if I create new sessions, there's no problem and they live happily together. What can I do to get both versions to work, to be able to know what settings my clients has used on his tracks? Wasn't there a way to copy settings from uninstalled plugins to similar plugs, say from the inactive T-Racks EQ to the other? I also have T-Racks 3 installed: could that be a problem? |

Re: Two T-Racks V1.3 EQ-plugins Crash.
Answering my own quest, in case someone else stumbles into this:
The support of IK was great: they pointed out there are actually 3 versions of the T-Racks EQ, all of which are V1.3 (...) and one of them was a free version. At first I noticed:
A bit confusing, but IK pointed me in the right direction: I guess the free-version was installed, which caused things to go wrong. |
