Yep, but me myself and I prefer using the little brother on mix rather than master. ReVibe though deserves a place on 2-track if needed.

If you are putting reverb on the 2buss. and yes lots and lots of people did and still do. There are countless stories of bands taking total control of there mix,s and lables begging for some 2 bus reverb.

Im I correct in assuming you want that newish indie rock buddy holly think glass suit wearing telecaster playing waaaay to much reverb on everything.

the trick to something like that is you need to have CRAPLOADS of reverb (way to much actually) but because you have soooo much reverb you need to keep the decay time very fast or it will turn into a washy mushy mess very fast.

Start with old style rolling stones reverbs like very early technology, plates or chambers, keep the decay fast and tight but make sure to eq out the low to low mid mush regions.

Avoid DVERB it has a pith that rises at the end of a tail and would add alot of digital garble. Use something with alot of eq control.

Lots of rev but dont let the rev carry for long times

It means that you fire a known impulse in a space and then record what happens after the impulse. Then that result can be used to create that very same space with your own material.

It works wonderfully for real acoustic spaces, but you cannot really model the traditional reverb boxes with this tech because the boxes act randomly. Walls however are always just there, and that can be modeled with impulse responses quite accurately.
We actually have a really good method now for getting IR's from digital sources (boxes). There are the variances of algorithmic verbs and verbs with a modulation or chorusing on the tail that cant be sampled. Most of these variances are only noticable in the tails. But using a hair bit of modulation inside of Reverberate can make it indistinguishable to most people from the box. A lot of the new verbs inside of Reverberate are done this way. There are some VERY nice units sampled in there with more to come.
