Default HEAT Installer

Hi,

Now that Avid gave heat for those with a perpetual active plan, where can I download the installer? I don't see it in my products account.

Thanks

I'm dumb, I just had to activate the licence and appeared into pro tools. Can someone please delete this post?

Thank you,

This is useful for someone else, let's just keep it this way. And no, you are not dumb. You just feel dumb because you did not know HEAT was already there just waiting for the license to show up.

Likewise when you install paid PT you are installing Ultimate and it is up to your license bundle whether the extra features are unlocked. Changing from standard software to ultimate software does not need anything more than license swap.

There was a separate installer for HEAT back in the day, so good to have this info available to clarify (if you don't mind leaving the thread).

What’s interesting is I just renewed my yearly Ultimate license and they didn’t deposit Heat nor did they upgrade my Ultimate, had to call into support to have everything deposited on my Ilok for the following year.
