It works 1 out of 2 times. It just freezes while loading. Im on legacy driver and onboard firewire device.

I just bought the SIIG NN-E20012-S2 firewire pci-express card, as recommended on digidesign.com

im still waiting for it, do you think it will make a difference for me?

For you guys that 003 rack and win7 is working great, what are your firewire device, onboard, pci-card?
I use the onboard Firewire on my Asus P5Q Pro board, works great on Vista and 7. Also have a Texas Instruments pci firewire card as a backup, but never had to use it. Even on windows 7 i couldnt use the TI driver had to go with the Legacy.

Hurry up Digidesign. I have my copy of Windows 7 64 and I want to install it, this is ridiculous. If you cant complete a 64 bit engine, at least put together some basic drivers.

If my Mbox died today there is no way I would buy another Digi product because of this debacle.

Read my last post in the Unofficial Official 7 support forum... You'll be waiting for a version for a long time.

I'm seriously considering selling all of the gear and switching to a new DAW.

On the other hand, it's good to know they are still planning on being around 'til then.

Hmm, he is from Avid Support... I consider it as "quite correct" information.

How will 64-bit support help us make better music? What makes it more audio-friendly? IOW, I'm asking, if what we care most about is audio, not technology, why would delayed 64-bit support cause us to jump ship? Or why not just add another tool that does support it, and use both? Is March that far away?
