Default MSI KT3 Ultra 2

After several problems with the Asus A7V266-C, mainly getting now display, I decided to switch to the MSI KT3 Ultra 2, and have had great success. Now my specs look like this:

MSI KT3 Ultra 2
AMD Athlon XP 2100+
768mb DDR
Maxtor 30gb HD
IBM 60gb HD
ATI Radeon 900 128mb DDR
SoundBlaster Live! X-Gamer

My question is, do you think this will be enough to run LE? Also, has anyone experience problems with this board and/or setup?

Thanks,
Rob

Rob,
So far that motherboard has been very stable. You should be fine with that processor too.

Hey Rob!
I had help putting my system together because of my lack of "know-how" regarding computers and how to set up a system so I can't get to specific but, I am using a very similar setup and after a few tweeks recommended on the DUC I have had no problems at all. ( knock on wood!! ) I'm running PTLE and it's smmooooth.

Here's my info:
CPU: AXP2000+ / Volcano9
MB: KT3 Ultra ( VIA KT333 Chipset Based )
RAM: 2x256MB
System HD: 30GB Maxtor 7200RPM
Audio HD: 60GB Maxtor 7200RPM
Video: G4Ti4200
Sound: Sound Blaster Live 5.1(PCI)

Good Luck!

Andrew

Rob,

I got the same mobo. You should be equiped more then sufficiently with the CPU and RAM you got.

Working with AMD XP1800 and currently stuck in 1024 MB RAM ( while more than 512 MB actually is of no benefit to PT ) problems occure only since PT being synced externally.
Internal though the system runs flawlessly.

Have fun!

Lalaman
