Exclamation OWC drives WTF..??

I bought a few drives from these guys over the years, and they've been great. 0 problems.

So I go to pick up a few new ones & it looks like they've changed their FW chipset. Not on all their enclosures, just the one I want. The same one I've been buying from them for years. They went to the Oxford 934 Chipset on the fw 400 usb2 combo.

Soooo, can I use these enclosures, or do I have to get another?

Andrew

AFAIK, ALL the Oxford chipsets are working with Pro Tools.

The newer Oxford chipsets including the 924 and 934 work fine with Pro Tools.

Shows how up I am on these current chipsets.

Albie, Lespaul, thanks for the info.

I tried to be resourceful (after starting a new thread) and did a search..

I guess I'll give one of these a go. I like the old FW 400 x 2 w/ USB2. Fits my needs just right.

First thing I'll do is load a 48 tracker I'm working on. I'll know soon enough.
