FIREWIRE AND DIGI 001
I just purchased a Digi OO1 for home and it rocks!!! I have 3 full MIX PLUS PT systems at work, but it is so nice to have PT at home (and at a very reasonable cost). I bought a CLUB MAC 15 Gig (which is actually 13 Gig) FireWire Hard Drive, JUST TO TRASFER DATA BETWEEN THE STUDIO AND HOME. But, it actually works quite well to record directly to this drive. DIGI DOES NOT RECOMMEND THIS !! And I would not recommend going out to buy a firewire drive, unless you can return it. I could get a maximum of 24 channels and 24 simultaneous digi Plug-Ins (pretty good). Does anyone have any configuration suggestions that will get more Plugs???
