Can this be true?
In addition to the 8 in's on the 003, I can also use the s/pidf in on the 003 to = 9 simultaneous tracks of recording? 8 analog and 1 s/pidf?
I thought the limit was 8 I/O meaning if I selected s/pidf then I'd loose one of the 8... would make sense. You get one or the other right? I guess not..So I can come out of my Eleven Rack into the 003 via S/Pidf and still have 8 analog I/0 on the 003... Hmmm. Now plus having my Digimax FS - this is crazy!

Re: Can this be true?
With your 003/Digimax setup you can have up to 18 simultaneous inputs. 8 through the 003, 8 through ADAT with the Digimax and up to 2 through s/pdif.
You are correct in that you don't lose any of the 8 inputs on the 003 when you add s/pdif inputs. How do you like the Eleven rack? -Tom

Re: Can this be true?
Thanks guys this is awesome! I love the Eleven Rack.
It was a very tough sell for me at first, but after getting in tweaking a bit I love it. But after the tracks are tracked, eq'd compressed and put through the effects, it's very sweet. My favorite amps are the Lux Duo The Digi Boutique they made Vox And my favorite is the Tweed - it's scarily close. I a/b'd the tweed with a real one and it was just too scary. The Marshall's are just 'ok' - haven't found a use for them yet. But like I said, when it's settled into an existing mix, they sound very nice. Still prefer to track real amps, but it adds a nice thing when you're looking to augment or do something different. The Tweed actually has real sag, which is very cool. Another reason I dig it.
