Default System 5 Side-Chain from surface

I am looking into side-chaining piano to strings compression or kick drum to bass guitar compression.

On the S5 surface I have the compressor on (Bass) channel 1 and kick on channel 2. On the bass channel I enabled SC then select channel, key or link. When set to key the bass track is muted as it should but now I select channel and want to grab the kick drum channel but cannot figure out how.

I know side-chain within eMix and Nuendo works but I would like to quickly setup side-chain from the S5 surface.

Can someone in S5 land chime in?
