002 'disappears'
weird one.
working in PT 9.0.6 (0S 10.5.8) on a 002 (console) open a new session and the 002 seems to disappear. all of a sudden the playback engine is the Aggregate output, and the 002 option has disappeared for the menu! restarting the 002 seems to return it to the list to allow it to be reselected. but the problem reoccurs. this only seems to happen with these particular sessions I am getting to mix. but that may be a coincidence masquerading as a cause. but it's a new problem for me for sure ideas? thanks |

Re: 002 'disappears'
One of 2 things maybe. Bad/intermittent power harness in the 002 or maybe you have your IO setup to allow sessions to overwrite IO settings? Or maybe you need a new firewire cable?(don't wiggle it while everything is powered ON as you can fry the firewire on the 002, the computer or even both). Make that connection with all power OFF.

Re: 002 'disappears'
I am having the exact same problem with 003. It just disappears. I either always need to reinstall divers or delete playlist. Any way around this one? This is very frustrating.
